I am a believer that teaching soothes the soul. If you are good at something have a passion for it, it can only do the world good for you to teach it..... unless it's gutting people or fucking chickens.... but you get the idea. I started teaching my art class this Monday and Tuesday, and while the first day was a slow start, yesterday was an experience that kept a smile on my face after leaving despite how exhausted I was from the whole day. The reactions from the students help me to know I can add a little bit of good to their days when coming home to their craptastic neighborhood, and I mean CRAPTASTIC. Why I'm ranting about this, I don't know..... But teaching continues to have that certain appeal.
